Greetings to all new members.
In order to create and maintain a positive and respectful environment within the Sales Players community and to ensure all members can participate safely and enjoyably, we have created the following community guidelines.
These guidelines are not meant to restrict the healthy debate, constructive feedback and openness that will make this a great community.
But you should treat them seriously because we will not tolerate bad eggs in the community.
If you wish to report any member for failing to follow the guidelines, please send me a direct Slack message and it will be handled without delay.
✅ Treat Others with Respect: All members must treat each other with respect, kindness, and empathy. Avoid offensive language, personal attacks, or disrespectful behaviour in any form.
✅ Be Inclusive and Welcoming: Embrace diversity and create an inclusive atmosphere where all members feel welcome and valued, regardless of their background, experience, or perspectives.
✅ No Harassment or Bullying: Harassment, bullying, or any form of intimidation will not be tolerated. This includes but is not limited to offensive comments, unwanted advances, or any behaviour that creates a hostile environment.
✅ Stay on Topic: Keep discussions and interactions relevant to the Sales Players community’s purpose. Avoid spamming, self-promotion, or unrelated content.
✅ Share Knowledge and Best Practices: Encourage members to share their expertise, insights, and best practices related to sales. This helps foster a collaborative and growth-oriented community.
✅ Respect Privacy and Confidentiality: Avoid sharing personal information about other members without their explicit consent. Also, refrain from sharing confidential or sensitive business information.
✅ Report Inappropriate Behavior: If any member witnesses or experiences inappropriate behaviour, they should report it to the community administrators promptly.
✅ No Discrimination: Discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or any other characteristic is strictly prohibited.
✅ Cite Sources and Give Credit: When sharing information or content from external sources, give proper credit to the original creators or authors.
✅ Engage in Constructive Feedback: Encourage constructive feedback. Members should be open to receiving feedback and offering it in a respectful and helpful manner.
Always ask if someone would like to receive feedback before providing it, and consider offering it in a private environment when possible.
✅ Avoid Conflict of Interest: Members should be transparent about any potential conflicts of interest when discussing products, services, or companies.
✅ No Spamming or Solicitation: Any form of unsolicited advertising, promotional material, or solicitations is not allowed in the community.
✅ Be Patient and Supportive: Recognize that members may have varying levels of experience and expertise. Be patient and supportive in helping each other grow and learn.
✅ Respect Community Rules and Moderators: Abide by the community guidelines and respect the decisions of the community moderators.
✅ Contribute to a Positive Atmosphere: Aim to create a positive, friendly, and constructive atmosphere in all community interactions.
